LEADERSHIP TEAM

Tim Benson is Chief Executive Officer of Future Wealth Partners, where he leads the Group’s growth strategy, mergers and acquisitions, senior leadership team and long-term strategic direction.
Tim began his career as an entrepreneur, establishing his first business at 19 while completing a carpentry apprenticeship. By 23, he had grown the business into a multi-service property maintenance company employing 14 people before successfully exiting and transitioning into financial services.
After four years in office equipment sales and finance, where he progressed to Regional Director, Tim moved into financial planning. Within his first year, he completed his first acquisition and hired his first team member. He then spent several years building the business independently while being mentored by his father, who bought more than 37 years of experience in the financial services industry. The two businesses ultimately merged, creating the foundation for the Group’s next phase of growth.
Since then, Tim has led 16 mergers and acquisitions, expanded the Group’s geographic footprint and service capability, overseen a major rebrand and introduced institutional private equity capital to support further growth.
As CEO, his focus is on capital allocation, accretive acquisitions, strategic partnerships and building a high-performance leadership team capable of delivering sustainable organic and inorganic growth.
Tim’s long-term ambition is to build a leading integrated financial services business across wealth management, accounting and lending, underpinned by discipline execution, strong culture and a long-term ownership mindset.
Outside of business, Tim and his wife Elizabeth are actively involved with the Children’s Hospital Foundation. Elizabeth is Chair of the Sapphire Committee, which has helped raise more than $2 million for the Foundation. Together the are raising two young boys and enjoy spending family time on the water, at the beach and in the snow.
